Fire Suppression Systems & Others

These are highly advanced automatic systems that ensure fool proof safety of your property from fire. They work on the principle of suppressing fire by cutting of oxygen supply.

CO2 Flooding Systems

High capacity cylinders containing highly pressurized CO2 gas are interlinked to one another. A fixed installation designed to displace the oxygen in the protected space and thus extinguish the fire, usually used to fight fires in engine rooms, boiler rooms, pump rooms and holds. The system normally consists of a series of large CO2 cylinders. The CO2 is supplied from the cylinder manifold to suitable points with diffusing nozzles. The discharge valve is located in a locked cabinet. Opening the cabinet activates an alarm to give personnel time for evacuation. Since the effectiveness of fixed CO2 fire fighting system diminishes the longer the fire burns, the speed is essential if CO2 is to be effective.

FM 200 Suppression Systems

Our Clean Agent Fire Protection System, which includes the use of HFC-227ea and FM-200, leaves no residue and doesn’t require costly clean-up, unlike sprinklers and other fire protection systems. And it discharges in 10 seconds or less, extinguishing a fire quickly and effectively. Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems are great in applications ranging from telecommunications and data processing to switch gear rooms, military applications and cell sites to high-tech medical applications. HFC-227ea fire suppression is also a widely accepted replacement for Halon 1301.

Signage’s & Escape Route Plans

It is important to install fire safety signage in workplaces, schools and public buildings to give easy visual guidance so that people can quickly identify the location of fire exits, alarms and equipment.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 together with the Health & Safety (Safety Signs) & Signals Regulations it is also a legal requirement for public buildings, and any to which the general public or customers have access, to display fire safety signs, so it’s essential to know what types of fire signage are available and which types you require for your business premises. Guard Fire Services have a detailed survey of your premises, after which we plan & design, escape routes and also advice where and what signage’s are required.
